Anyone use those "brush" tees? I like the idea of teeing up at the exact same height every time but I don't know anyone who has ever used them.

I've been using them and I love them. Not because I think they help my ball flight or distance, just for consistent height and durability.

For par 3's, I just use whatever broken tee I find on the course.

I never use to have a preference to any sort of tee, but I go tired of breaking so many tees during play. So have switched to the zero friction 2 3/4 tee for durability purposes. Now I can go weeks with the same tee.

I grabbed a package of those zero friction tees as well and I love that they don't break. Broke my first one about 2 weeks ago because the ground was frozen solid. I tee the ball a lot lower than most for my driver so I thought I'd try those little 1 3/4" wooden ones and they didn't break, but since I put less of it in the ground, it would fly off with the ball an awful lot. Once I was close to finishing those, I found a zero friction tee and it lasted me for 2 months before I lost it and realized I love the convenience of using the same tee over and over.

My driver is 460, so I tee higher. I've always used the 2 3/4" but have went to 3 1/4" when I went to the larger head. I just stay with wooden tees.

I've been using a hot pink tee for good luck. Ol' "Pinky" is a badass, and I might shed a tear the day she breaks.

I just found a nice 3" wooden tee at the local driving range. I got to try it out next time I'm at the course

What size do you use and what material, Wood, plastic, other .... ?

Whatever I pull out of the bag. Always wood, and always one I've picked up on a tee box somewhere. I don't buy tees ( I have about 2000 of them that I've just picked up), and I don't care how long they are because I tee my driver only about 1½ inches off the ground. And I can use a 2 1/4" tee for 18 holes if the top doesn't get all chipped up. I've got one in my pocket right now that I've used on all driving holes for the last 36 holes I've played.

Hate plastic tees - other than that I'm not picky though using natural tees might be a good idea since I have equal disdain with tee streaks on my clubs... Already the case with my newest driver, however, so it's too late now - Unless there's a real quick fix out there for cleaning it up?

goo gone, im telling you, can make any club look shiny new... whenever i trade in clubs for store credit, always give them a wiping down of with goo gone on a paper towel or rag.

oh and if anyone can name the tee im about to descibe ill be very happy, cause i can find it.

It was a wooden tee a found, almost seemed like bamboo maybe, and on the top it had like little circle lookin things on the bowl of the tee where the ball rest. almost looked like tiny little suction cups or something lol. but i found that tee on a hole used it for my driver, drove it amazing, kept using and every drive i used that tee was awesome (prolly all in my head but whatever works) then the tee broke and my drives got bad that day haha. i want more of those tees;.

2 3/4 white tees for the driver and I carry some shorter ones (I think 1 1/2) for my 3 wood/hybrids/irons. Don't know why, but I started carrying the shorter ones to use for the shorter sticks and now prefer to do that. I'm not a fan of using broken tees for the shorter sticks. It's like a superstition or something for me.

Bought a box of 3 1/4" ZF's, based on experience using a few found in the tee box last season (still had one in the bag). I must have bent or busted at least 12 in two rounds last week - unheard of for ZF, so I dropped the Mfgr an e-mail - a replacement box is heading my way (along with some colored samples). Good Customer Service - hope the replacements fare better. And, I did make sure that one prong was facing the fairway as recommended on the package.
