08 vs. 09 ??

Anybody know the difference between the 08 and 09 Burner drivers?
I have a new 08 Burner #3 wood that I really like and hit well. But researching the drivers,
I'm wondering what, if any, the real difference is.

I believe the '08 was the "tour burner" and the '09 is just a "regular" burner. The bottom of the club of the '08 is black while the '09 has the red stripes on them. The 07 had silver stripes. The shaft offerings may be slightly different. You need a spreadsheet to keep up with TMs driver releases. Keep in mind, the shaft gets longer every year. I think it's up to 46.5" in this year's 2010 model. Last year was 46.25".
The '09 comes in 9.5 and 10.5 lofts. I think they offer the '08 in a 8.5 as well.

The '09 is a little more triangular and was meant to be a little lighter and faster. I am more of a fan of the '08, FWIW.

With Taylor Made they seem to release a new club every quarter. I think they have as big of a cosmetic department as they do a R & D department. I have been told by some golf shop pro's and it makes since that every other year a manufacturer actually makes a significant improvement in their tech. You can't reinvent the wheel every year even though they all try.

The '08 does have "meaner" look to it. The '09 also has graphic "alignment" lines which help me out for some reason. The stock shafts are too light. I keep flip flopping about getting heavier shaft.
