With so much success with cutting some off my Driver shaft I am thinking of shortening the 3 wood and 5 woods. Both are the 07 Burners, already have the lighter shaft so I wouldn't want to take too much off of them. Currently I hit both clubs fairly well however I feel that if we take just a bit off (3/4" or so) the accuracy will be that much better.

I would sugest cutting down one or the other. For me I actully cut down my 5 wood so I can hit it out of bad lies ect. I have never cut down my driver or 5 wood, but I did this just for a test and live it. I also do have a hybrid though with the 1/2 inch over size shaft on it for the course's with little rough and great tight fairways.

why not just choke down on the club so that you don't lose any torque?

I like my set to flow, so when I cut down my driver I had to cut my 3 wood and 5 wood to match it. I cut the 3 1/2" shorter than the driver and the 5 1/2" shorter than the 3 wood...

3/4s is a lot, you should try 1/2 first
