Anyone got advice on maintaining the wrist to shaft angle on the down swing?

I have about a 103-105 mph ss, but noticed on video that i have a lot of trouble maintaining that angle to help get even more club head speed.

Just don't release it. Period. You don't have to hold on for dear life, just gently keep your wrists as they were at the top until the momentum of your swing makes them naturally release. If you want to, you can try making super-slow-motion swings from the top, swinging down until your wrists are hip-high and keeping your wrist position unchanged, then slowly back up and slowly back down, over and over, getting used to the feeling of your wrists not releasing early.

Like the Rec. Golfer said. Look up "The Flying Wedge". There are some good videos on youtube. I learned this move last year and it does help prevent fat shots too. Just be sure to keep your left arm staright and rotate it up after impact to prevent the dreaded "Chicken Wing".

Here's a good one that I've been using a lot. Mike Bennett is a genius. Poor quality, but you should be able to hear Nick Clearwater fine despite the wind. besides, the wind isn't THAT bad, is it? Okay, it's bad, but still, a good drill.

Iacas has a video of this same drill except he pre-sets his weight forward. You might want to start here first. Personally, I like switching up between the drill in the top video and the drill on the bottom when I'm at the range. It has helped me a lot.

Those drills are not good because they teach bad habits and at least one of them is silly.
The best is drive the butt end of the club downward at the ball.
Another is hit with your hands.
Visualizations which teach the right things.
These are things playing pro's think about to get shaft lean and lag.

Because you're leaving the clubface open only with those long clubs, it might be that your body is getting ahead of your arms. That brings the clubhead into the ball before the clubface has a chance to close. Think of your driver swing as being just like your 8-iron swing except there's more of it.

Another way of thinking about maintaining your wrist angle is that's it's just going along for the ride. You don't have to "hold" it, you merely let it stay where it was at the top until it releases itself when it gets below your hips.

They don't teach bad habits. Read The Golfing Machine - the first imperative is a flat left wrist. Maintaining the flying wedge is one of them.

Weight forward at impact. Hit fast, stop fast. Flat left wrist. Long arms through impact. Angled hinging.
The best is drive the butt end of the club downward at the ball.

And if your weight hasn't moved forward you'll come down steeply into... the ground a foot behind the golf ball. Or, realizing you're about to do that, you'll pull your arms apart or lift up and thin it or top it.

Yeah, that's a great drill. Such vivid visual imagery... Hit with your hands. Like a boxer? By using all of the momentum downward and none forward? We propel the golf ball forward. Not downward. The golf swing is far less about the downward motion and much more about the forward and, through impact, upward motion (golfers "jump" to add height and power to the ball - a catapult effect that WHIPS the club around from P6 through P7 and into P8 and beyond).

Visualizations which teach the right things.

Shaft lean is over-rated. Pros only get a -5° attack angle with a pitching wedge, after all. That's not a ton of shaft lean.

Retaining the angle is the wrong way to look at it.If your into video take your driver and hit an impact bag or something, Hit it Hard. Check out the video---there is the angle..The angle is made not retained. GDIB
