Looks a bit like my distances. Looks like a different shaft would solve that problem(equipment wise). How are your launch angles looking with the longer clubs ? Do you have enough swing spd for using stiff shafts ? Whats you carry with the driver ?

I used to be longer in the old days, maybe I lost some flex, but on the other hand I am pretty sure my former longer distances were based on full swing, while these days I went down to let's say between 3/4 and full swings. Control is better !

R/S shafts were fitted, based on swingspeed, posture, etc. ..... R flex would probably add 10-15 yds, but still I prefer accuracy above length. Strange thing in my ZB set is that I hit the musscle back P, 9 and 8 better than the semi cavity 7 and 6 ..... maybe I sould add a ZM 7 and 6. The 5 and 4 are great ! My carry with the drive is about 210-225 meter, roll is so different ..... mostly not more than 5-10%, again I used to be longer 20 orso yrs ago, but today I hit most fairways. Some other distances : 909 H 2H 17* 175-185 m (195-205 yds) 909 F3 18* 195-205 m (215-130 yds) 909 D2 10.5* 225-240 m (250-265 yds) I am a bit in doubt on adding a Hybrid 19* to fill the gap between 4i and 2H, but maybe it can be solved by chocking down let's say 1" on the Hybrid 17* ..... the 3i which is not in my bag at the moment is also in the gap, at the range it is quite OK, but at the course my 4i is more consistent.

one of the better golfers i have ever golfed with (scratch golfer) uses i think a 7 iron from 150 yards. he hits his driver around 300 yards. he isnt worried about hitting his PW 150 yards, he has the feel to hit a 7 iron as high as i can hit a full sand wedge with a 3/4ish, maybe less swing. distance with your irons doesnt matter too much, accuracy matters. you can adjust the bags in your club to cover different distances.

My yardage gaps are pretty steady around 10-12 yards. However, depending on how well I struck the ball there's a 5 yd +/-. For instance, my 7 iron averages about 160, maybe a little less. 157 might be more accurate. However, if I make a really good swing I can sail it 165-168 as I've sailed the green on a 160 yd par 3 a few times. Learning my distances is really helping out my game and should be a priority for everyone.

3h - 200
4h - 190
5 - 180
6 - 170
7 - 155
8 - 145
9 - 135
PW - 120
52* - 115
56* - 105
58* - 95

Mine are a bit weird but whatever. My 8-58* are yardages I can carry. I only use my 5,6,7 when I can get some roll because I don't have a good swing where I get a lot of height yet with those clubs. I also tend to aim for the yardage to front or middle of green, never back. Blah, I'm still learning.
