I think you have a little to much confidence if you think you will hit another hole in one in your future.

First Hole in one June 2, 2010

3 years ago, I was lucky enough to score a hole-in-one while playing with 2 friends and a stranger, I think it's the best scenario beside one when your family is at the green looking at you.

Anyway, It was a 170 yrds very narrow par 3 with tall trees on both side of the fairway. Hit my shot and I knew I didn't make that much of a good contact, the ball landed on the front part of the green and pin was top left, the ball rolled for a good 25 feet and ended up hitting the pin. We couldn't be sure if it was in or not, when I looked in the hole, it was there.

Called my dad who's been a golf player for 25 years! Man I'll remember that day for a long time.

well you always here about it happening to beginners because beginners are always on those all par 3 courses. So they have 18 opportunities to get one instead of like 3-4 on a normal 18 course. That and most beginners cant get the ball up so the ball goes running across the ground at the pin.

Exactly!! Great shot though!

lol... wow man, congrats. three weeks and an ace! i'd hate you if i hadn't already hit one myself. my first after 14 years of playing came last year on a 210 yd par 3 with a 5 iron.

that's pretty amazing getting an ace after three weeks. you must have a fair bit of luck on your side! i've yet to get a hole in one, myself... i've had three or four times where i was within a foot of the hole, but never actually got one. my dad, who's been playing for probably 40 years now, finally got his first hole in one last fall.

congrats matey, been playing a year and a half and the closest ive come is within a foot, the most annoying thing about it was that it was directly behind the cup form where i hit it from so must have just missed the lip
