I was thinking about getting a 60* VR wedge. I like the high rev grooves, but the vokey wedges seem softer to me. What do you guys think?

The Vokeys are made from 8620, a manganese based steel which is harder than the 1025 steel used in the Victory Red Wedges. The Vokeys are cast, so they're a bit more brittle, and a bit less bendable. After that, it's down to preference. My vote would go to the VR because it's forged from 1025, which will make it easier to adjust and it can be readjusted more often.

Both wedges are really good. I still think the vokeys produce a little more spin. But either of them are very nice!

I started with Cleveland CG14's, didn't like the feel of that gel back design. A few months ago I bought brand new Vokeys and played them for about 3 weeks. I just didn't like them... I absolutely loved the 58* out of the sand, but I just wasn't feel'n them overall. I play the Nike VR irons and Ive always liked the Nike wedges, so after only 3 weeks I traded the Vokeys for the VR wedges, and I love them!!! They definitely chew up golf balls, but they do spin very nicely. Feel is much better with the VR's. I always felt like the Vokeys were heavier...

In my Ogio bag.

Titleist 910D2 driver, Adams irons & hybrid, Callaway wedges & a Nike Method putter.

And a yellow ball.

The Nike VR's do have some serious bite... but they do calm down over time.

The Victory Red Wedges feel very consistent in my opinion. I've had them for about half a year, and I still see almost the same amount of spin from them as when I first got them, but they do tear up the golf ball really quick. When I first tried the club, I noticed shreds of the ball cover inside my grooves. The Victory Red's also have a lot of bounce on them so they don't dig as far down into the ground.
