TV's talking heads when analyzing a pros swing will comment that the pro has good connection, and amatuers mostly do not. To me this means proper coordidnation of the arm shoulder and leg movements so they happen in proper sequence with the arms not lagging behind or racing ahead of the shoulder and hip movements. The popular one plane, two plane theory seems to use this term differently depending on which category of swing is discussed?

I mostly work on this using the old headcover under the front arm drill recently repopularized by Vijay. What does it mean to you?

i chose grip it and rip it. Over the summer i've read a lot of stuff. Some has helped, some has totally killed my driver swing.

In the end i've realized (and maybe through all this stuff i read i actually created some muscle memory for a good swing somewhere). But I realized that If i just take dead aim. Not get ahead of myself, and just swing the club there while keeping a good stance, I end up hitting a good drive.

Also, i firmly believe that having the right grip that works for you is key. I made a change to my grip half way through the summer, and its a world of difference in confidence and performance.

I'm terrible, but i have fun.
