I am a member of TMAGConnection (at least until I lost my card, and I can't remember my login ID...figures...) and I was entered in a tournament to win a free Taylormade Tour Burner driver (What a P.O.S!!!!!) and I traded it for an R7 425 TP with an Aldila By You proto shaft in it...I guess you could say I made a good trade... ;)

I "won" a free hybrid for hitting the green on a par 3 at a tournament...the shipping was $29.99 so I didn't get the club.

Yeah, me too.....almost every Saturday, the Make a Wish foundation has a $5 chance on one of the the Par 3's......I have about 6 certificates for free clubs from Razor golf, which, BTW, are pretty decent clubs. I tried them out at a golf show last year.

I'd have to say my free 48 degree vokey and free Izzo Swami GPS - I never have enough frequent flyer miles to redeem trips so I looked in their marketplace and had enough points to redeem them. Didn't even have to pay shipping.

Probably next best buy would be my Taylor Made R7 hybrids $59 each, clearance rack at Dicks about 2 months ago.

Just left golfgalaxy. their used rack featured a Titleist Driver 8.5 deg for $31 and Titleist Forged irons for $191. All were in very good condition. Wish I needed clubs, lol

Got my Ap1's on Ebay for $250(real verified by titleist and GG), sold the two vokeys that came with it and my old set of cg golds for $400, so I think that was a steal.

Got another hell of a deal...got a Nike Ignite sand wedge (graphite) and a IC 20-10B putter for $65. Finally, my set is complete.

I bought the irons and wedges in my signature from my lessons coach, who was switching to Taylormade Staff. I needed a new set of wedges as it was, and always wanted blades. Paid $275 for 3-PW Titleist ZM blades and 52/56/60 Vokey SM wedges, all in good shape w/matching PX flighted 6.5 shafts. Not a bad deal.

I won a set of Nike VR split cavity irons about 18 months ago for $340 on ebay... they were $899 at the local golf shop then.... felt like I won the lottery at the time.
