Haven't read through all of the replies, but here's a few suggestions:

+1 on Belk they have constant and great markdowns. Some stores also carry Polo, Nautica, etc.

Never pay retail. If you have to have the latest at the beginning of the season, its your money, but I can't tell the difference in last years red polo from this years. It is not the brand or sometimes even the store, but when. I have bought $90 Polo brand Golf shirts for $15-16 end of season at major dept stores. Even Sam's has end of season clearance--I have seen $70 shirts that they sell regularly for maybe $30, then close out at $10-12 and less.

im going to have to go to the Waterloo Outlet malls asap...

I caught them at a good time...they had racks of polos, shorts, pants specifically for golf on sale the day I was there...I couldn't believe my eyes...I had to buy, of course...Now if my game was a good as I look on the course...lol...

I buy a lot of my polos at Belks. Last summer I found Adidas whick golf shirts on clearance online for $17-$20 each. If I don't find what I want at Belks, I often search online.

I get a lot of things from the IZOD outlet store about an hour away. $20 for some pretty awesome shirts.
