even Par.....and missed .....would have been my first ever even par round (now, my fifth +1 round).....can't complain, as I needed a birdie down the stretch and gave myself a 20 footer on 17 (knocked it 5 feet by and drilled the comebacker) and a 12 footer on 18 (just drifted low side the last foot and a half).....so I gave myself a chance.

I just thought I would share.....there are thousands out there that are much better players than me, so I won't post another thread about one of my rounds until I shoot even or better........what a great fu*king game we play.

Some day you will get off to a good start perhaps with birdies or an unexpected eagle and accomplish the feat. 5 times +1, I say you are overdue that extra bit of good luck.

agreed, you'll get it.

What's funny is that the day you shoot even or better, it'll be like -4 or -5...you'll crush it. I remember bowling a 199 about 3 or 4 times and never broke 200...then I go out and get a 235 to destroy it. So hang in there, and enjoy the hell out of the breakthrough round. It'll be epic.

lol, my first 200 game was a 220 and should have been a mid 250 game. Started out with 7 straight and went to pieces.

To the op...you will shoot even par soon enough. More than likley you wont be happy as it probably should be an under par round. Scrambling for a par round doesnt usually happen. For example, going into 18 1under and getting a bogey to shoot even. Good Luck!!
