The New Flag of the United States of America containing a Union of 50 stars flew for the first time at 12:01 A.M. when it was raised at the Fort McHenry National Monument in Baltimore, Maryland on July 4, 1960!!!

Thanks you to all our veterans and those currently serving. The closest member of my family to have served is my grandfather, who enlisted during WWII but was never deployed. He used to say that he was "protecting Rochester [NY]" while his brothers were in the pacific.
