Where's my short game???

Did you ever have one of those days where your short game decides to stay in the car while the rest of your game comes to the course?

Last night during league play I had one of the most abysmal nights ever with my wedges. On three holes I blew the ball right over the top of the flag and off the back of the green. Two of my chips (from horrifying rough I might add) flew the green as well. Twice I missed the green completely from 60 yards out!

Most frustrating though was I had my best night driving in a long time. I was blistering the ball and just couldn't get the ball onto the green with my wedge. All told, I bet my craptastic wedge play cost me six or seven strokes.

Guess what I'll be doubling my practice time on this week?

Right there with you. I can count at least four strokes that should have been easy up and downs last night that I pitched past the hole and two putted back. I even spent 20 minutes on the practice hole before the round and was chipping balls to a few feet. My scrambling % was a goose egg last night and is usually a decent part of my game.

I couldn't putt to save my life last night at league. Hit 7 of 9 fairways and 5 greens, but the putter let me down
