I am using Grip Master leather grips right now and really enjoy them. There is a guy on Ebay selling them for what works out to be $5 per grip.
They are great feeling, add shock absorption and should last me 5 + years. They tack back and are easy to care for....

1. super tacki (hense the name)

I just read up on what size grip I should be playing and I am going to go with a midsize. I could be misunderstanding you but it sounds like you are saying their standard grips are just about midsized. I don't regrip my own clubs I have my pro shop do it. Or are you saying you grip your own and you can make them near midsized? I guess I'm trying to say idk what you mean by two wraps of tape can make them near midsized.

what you SHOULD be playing and what FEELS COMFORTABLE to you are two different things and yes, i grip my own clubs - honestly dude, its the easiest thing in the world to do and yes again, 2 wraps of tape (and this is the max you can do on these grips) will give you a hair smaller than midsized (i use one wrap) FYI-a grip thats too big for you will promote a fade - choose your size wisely

From what the article read, it said a player that wears an XL glove (me) should tend to use a midsize to jumbo grip and a player who wears a L glove should use a regular to midsize grip. I've been using stock grips on my irons and I never really have a problem hitting my irons straight. Let me ask this, what would the noticable problem be if I was using a regular size grip but needed a midsize? You said if I would use a midsize and didn't need it, it would cause a fade, what if vise versa? What if I needed midsize but chose to go regular?

I have a Cadet Medium glove size, but also suffer from mild Arthritis in my fingers.

http://www.golfpride.com/Grips/Defau...&grip;=tourwrap

I chose to go with Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G Midsize......they are traditional black, feel slightly soft, so they will absorb more ground shock, yet are tacki and handle the extra moisture from sweat and/or rain well.

The results are this:

After switching my irons on Friday night to the Tour Wrap Midsize, I shot a 90 on Saturday morning, then my personal best 76 on Saturday afternoon at my home course, Pebble Creek in Tampa. It felt like a Jekyl & Hyde thing...my irons were terrific!

So this week, I'm switching my Driver (which has a Midsize GP New Decade White) my 3 wood and my hybrid 2 & 3.

Next Saturday I'll have all Midsize Tour Wrap 2G's.

typically it's been the lamkin crossline but i've found them lately to get slick pretty easily. may start looking for something new.

Just put Lamkin Crossline Black .58 round on my 4-PW.
My 54/60 have the GP TV Ribbed, as does my Baffler, but these will be changed next to the same grip as I really like the fullness of the round grip and the softness of the Lamkin Crossline.
My Driver and 3W have the standard Nike OEM grips but are round so will be leaving these on until they need changing.

I know my choice isn't the most popular in the world, but for some reason, I love the Winn Dsi AVS V17 Midsize grips. They're so soft, so they really help me with my "death grip". I don't feel like I have to grip the club as hard. I have smaller hands, but like the midsize because it seems to have helped me control my draws and keep them draws, instead of low hooks.

another vote goes to NDMC's for all irons.

My driver and fairway woods all have NDMC's as well, and standard tour velvets on my wedges

Personally I like the Lamkin PermaWrap midsize. I really like the look and feel of a wrap grip as opposed to a velvet or cord. You might want to check out PURE grips. I've heard really good things about them including a positive review from this website.

Integra contour oversize. They feel great and the price is right. I feel much more confident now holding the golf club for some reason. I hope they never fall off the market

Check out the golf pride vid on hand size

http://www.golfpride.com/Tips/RegrippingTips.aspx It says grab the club with two fingers of your top hand and see if the grip is 'correct' based on your finger/hand length. If the grip is too small you might grip it tighter than you should but you probably won't notice a big difference and I think its kind of personal preference. It also can slightly change the weight distribution and maybe you prefer a thinner/lighter grip so the clubhead feels heavier. Or maybe you won't notice. You can make a grip slightly thicker by using two wraps of tape instead of one then the weight is just how much a piece of tape weighs, and/or use a thicker grip which could add a several grams. If you do it yourself you can experiment and see what you like for basically the cost of the grip after you have initial supplies. Its very easy to re-grip yourself. Just watch a youtube video or two. A secret is a tool from golfsmith that is like a curved chisel with a ball on the end to scrape the old tape off because that part is normally the time consuming part. http://www.golfsmith.com/products/82...p_Tape_Remover I can do a club in about 3minutes in my backyard and i dont use a vice. Here is how I do it: (edit: I just noticed there is a video on that golf pride site that shows most of what I typed here lol) - Use a pair of sharp scisors and jam one end into the old grip and run it up cutting the old grip then split and yank the old grip off. This works fine even for graphite clubs where you need to be careful not to cut if you were using a box knife. You can also use a hook blade but scissors work fine. - Put the club butt end down on concrete patio or a rock in your yard and use that chisel tool to scrape off the old tape. Scrape down toward the rock while you turn the club with your other hand. You could also scrape with scissors or a piece of metal but it will take longer. - Cut a piece of double sided tape to the length of the new grip, place it on the club with a finger length hanging off the butt end and wrap half around the shaft. Peel off the top of the tape starting on that half wrapped side while wraping the other side fully around the club. Twist the top end that is hanging over and push in the end of the club so nothing can get down the shaft through the grip hole. - Take your mineral spirits and pour a little into the new grip while holding the tiny hole on the butt end with one finger. Pour just enough so you can feel it shake around inside while covering the big hole with your other hand. Shake it around in there then pour it out all over the tape on the club through the tiny hole. - Put the club head on grass like you would be swinging it and slip the grip on the way you want it. With golf pride tour velvet I put the logo on the bottom so it doesn't distract me while playing. Watch out cause the juice will squirt out the hole onto your shirt. - Turn the club upside down and tap the butt end of the grip on a rock or patio to make sure its all the way on. - Wipe it with a rag then examine and twist/align the logo or markings if needed then let it dry overnight.

Golf pride cord bottom line best grips. I've gone through winn grips, lamkin, and most of golf pride's grips. Tour velvet/wraps are too slippery, cord isn't the most comfortable, but they get the job done.
