I'm looking to upgrade my putter and really like both. I have a odyssey tour right now but love the feel of the black ice #9 but also like the scotty. What do u guys think would be the better choice longterm

As I'm sure a majority of people on here will tell you, putters are extremely personal. There is no "right" or "wrong" putter. You have to experiment with them and go with your gut feeling on what you like. Just don't fall into the trap by thinking that just because one putter is more expensive or have a better known name that it is a better putter for you. It's not about which one looks the nicest or cost the most; it's about which one gives you the most confidence to put the ball in the hole.

We can't know what is best for you. Find both putters and test them out, then decide.

Looks like you pretty much made up your mind in that post right there. By the looks of it, you're leaning more towards getting the Odyssey because you said "Love" the black ice #9, and "Like" the scotty. I think the Odyssey Black Ice #9 is a great putter. It's one I've had my eye on for a long time. I think you should get it because it has a great feel like you said, and the weighting is great. Of course, it's all up to the individual as to whether it feels right to them.

I'm a bit confused on those putter choices you've listed. It almost seems like you're basing your choices on phil's or tiger's putter as those two putters have little in common. Then again, you have the right to get whatever you like, but I'd say you make a few trips to the golf store and try as many putters as possible. if there's one that you keep going back to, that may be the one for you. my rule is if I don't absolutely love it, I'm not gonna buy it.
