Hello everyone, long story short, I used to be a 3, had 2 kids, and am now a 6 or 7 (not even sure). I've been making some improvements but still not where I need to be. Some fresh eyes would be great.

Thanks,
Trevor

On my misses, yes, it's usually a block. I agree, I kind of sway a little towards the left foot a bit early, thanks for confirming that suspicion!

You want to move to the left foot in the downswing. What you don't want is the head going forward as well. You have a bit of that but not much. I'd work first on keeping the right arm straighter and not overflexing it on the backswing.

Thanks Erik and Briars, you're both right. The overactive right hand on the downswing and the left foot hyper-activity probably both come from my baseball years. I'm having a difficult time shaking all of the baseball elements of the swing, I used to come WAY across the line with a flying right elbow too.

Will definitely keep these in mind next time out!

I would try and calm down your right elbow. It is causing a little hitch at the top as well.

Yeah, I can't even tell you how long I've tried to get rid of that hitch. I just do it naturally, probably another baseball thing. I'll hit a bucket with the camera on and swear I'm not doing it, then watch the vid and there it is every swing. I don't feel it either, it's crazy.

Hey Sucka27, are they still moving the range tees onto the grass a couple days a week out there at Willows, or is it all mats all the time now? I used to live in Kirkland a few years back and loved practicing out at Willows.....

Unfortunately it's all mats all the time now. Gold creek is a couple miles down the road, they have big topped off buckets for $6 and it's grass. Well, if you want to call it grass...picture a big cow field. The good thing is if you can hit off that grass, you can hit off almost any grass.

Carnation is out a ways but they had a really nice grass range last I knew. When I lived in sammamish I'd go out there 4 or 5 times a week.
