Hello!! I think Vokey wedges are the best I carry
52*, 56*, 60* Do you agree? If you don't agree what do you like?
These wedges have helped me not change my swing 100 yards and in(takes out the guessing game), its responsible from me going from 19 HC to 12 HC...

Balls "Pro V1's", " Callaway Warbirds"

...confidence is what got you to a 12...not wedges. i own a cleveland and a vokey. love em both the same.

In my Titleist 2014 9.5" Staff bag:

Cobra Bio+ 9* Matrix White Tie X  - Taylormade SLDR 15* ATTAS 80X - Titleist 910H 19* ATTAS 100X - Taylormade '13 TP MC 4-PW PX 6.5 - Vokey TVD M 50* DG TI X100 - Vokey SM4 55 / Vokey SM5 60* DG TI S400 - Piretti Potenza II 365g

I used the Cobra Trusty-Rusty's for years, but I recently switched to the Spin Milled Vokey's. A 54 degree, bent to a 53 degrees, and 60 degree.

I have a Cleveland 588 54*. The 588's are just great feeling clubs...the ball explodes off the club face like a bullet shoots out of a gun.

Irons - Mizuno MP-14
Wedges - Cleveland 588 54*, Ping Tour 58*
Putter - Ping D66 (iWi)

56* CG15 and 60* Callaway X-Tour

Vokeys may be nice but they're just wedges. As long as its got grooves, I'll spin the ball.

I prefer my RAC TPs to the Vokeys, less clicky. That said, I like the Mizuno MP T10s over my RACs...just waiting for these to wear out.

i'm a fan of my mizuno r series wedges. I like them better than the Vokey's, but everyone has their own opinion.

A wedge is a wedge, basically. But ive been using vokeys for so long, and become so accustomed to them, that i don't think i could use anything else. Even if i wanted to.

Probably, but since I don't know what else you carry, it's purely a guess.

I have an oilcan 52* Vokey. I didn't think that through. Nice wedge, but now that it's rusty I think it looks and feels like shi+. It's like asking "who's your favourite late night talk show host?" I can think of a couple who just plain suck, but they might someone else's favourite.

Love Vokeys, though I haven't played one in a long while. I've used Cleveland 588's, cg10's, cg12's, cg 14's and cg15's and love them all. My 56* CG12 is my go to wedge love that thing.

These are actually my favorite because they are the best wedges I've bought. I used to use a dunlop 60* a wilson thing 56* and some generic brand 52* so yeah for me the vokeys are great. but hey, forums are made to talk about random things like this...

nah.. better clubs... old wedges were wilson dunlop and some generic one. the vokeys have better bite, crisp feeling.

I prefer my Mizuno MP, MacGregor VIP, and Ram TW wedges. But they're forged, so that's probably why. I do like the size and shape of Vokeys, I just like other stuff better.

Groan. There is no difference in "feel" between forged and cast clubs. When is this nonsense going to stop?

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

looks you started a new topic... i'll sit back and watch.

Watch what? Clubs that sound harder are producing different sound waves - different vibrations. Unless you're playing super spongy grips made for arthritis sufferers, they do feel different. If I was blindfolded and had ear plugs could I tell the difference? Who cares. Plug your nose and you probably can't tell the difference between strawberry and vanilla ice cream, but if someone says they taste the same they're a nutjob.

For the record, the Vokey feels softer than other cast wedges I have (like Wilson High MOI and vintage Spalding) and if I was to give specific reasons why I prefer the forged versions, it's probability to tweak the lofts and lies without fear of them breaking.

I love my Mizuno wedges. Vokeys are OK, but they are cast, not forged and forged is where its at.
Look at it this way: the best irons in the world are forged. Everyone loves the feel of these forged irons. Shortgame is all about feel, so why then would you not want forged wedges???

Not to debate myself, but probably durability and not having to get the lofts and lies checked, ever.
