Epoxy and grip dry time

How long does it take for epoxy and a grip take to fully cure before you can use the club ? 24 hours ?

I don't think it takes that long at all, I think about 6-8 hours should do the trick. I believe they even have a quick dry epoxy available.

I actually regripped my irons today and hit them on the range 2 hours later. :) lol

The epoxy depends on what the cure time is for the epoxy, there are those that are done in half an hour, there are others that are 24hrs. I've also found that heat has a lot to do with it, get it in 90* heat and it's drastically shorter.

Grips, I'd say 2hrs and you're ready to go. I started putting grips on right over plain masking tape, no solvent...ready to go as soon as they're on the club.

Id say leave them about 12 hours, or overnight, and both should be good. New grips are probably good to go in a few hours, but i usually let them dry overnight, just to be sure.

When I got a few clubs re-gripped a while back the guy told me to give it an hour or so and it'd be good to go.

Agreed, I'd give it more time than 3 hours just to be on the safe side. I wait overnight before I take them out to hit.

I've even seen a 5 minute epoxy, but I'd be a bit leery of that. Don't be in a rush when working on your clubs. Use a good grade of epoxy and give them time to cure properly.

Ok guys. Thanks for the feedback. My father's going to reshaft my driver and regrip my hybrid either late tonight or early tomorrow. I'm goin to play black Sunday afternoon, so I'm goin' go out there blind and see what happens. I was just thinking 24 hours to be safe.
