Gamesmanship with Buddies

Here's one that worked for me today, but it was all in the circumstance. I'm the worst golfer in my group. Both guys I play with every week consistantly shoot in the low to mid 80's, and I'm mid to high 80's. I played 9 after work today with "Bob".

"Hey Bob, 2 holes to go, and I'm up on you by 1 stroke. You know, I've never beaten you before"

I ended up winning by 3. After I said that, he couldn't hit a shot to save his life. Just the thought of me beating him for the first time in the 2 years we've been playing together screwed him up that bad.

When my wife & I got married we had a little golf tourney the next day (No, my wife doesn't play but she is very cool) We had 12 guys playing and my younger brother brought some dresses, with the understanding that if you didn't drive past the ladies tees you had to play the hole wearing the dress. The 1st par 5 we hit my older brother (Who has no sense of humor) chunked his tee shot, coming up well short of the ladies tees. He then proceded to have the ultimate blow up hole, taking an 11 for the hole. Seeing him hack all over the hole, cursing all the way while wearing a nice flower print dress, is a sight that makes me LMAO to this day.
