Push = Open clubface
Fade = Clubface open to the swingpath

You're not giving us a whole lot to work on here. Is it a straight-push, straight-fade, push-fade, pull-fade? What is your swingpath like?

Push = Open clubface

they were either straight pushes(i.e going right from the start) and straight push fades.

Then you need the clubface to be closer to square, less open. If you get the clubface halfways between the swingpath and target, this should produce a small draw.
Are you familiar with the ball flight laws?

If your grip and alignment felt as normal, be sure that you aren't laying off the club on the way back.

My pushes (or snaps) come from getting stuck inside.

What is your normal shot? I thought a push was caused by inside-to-out swing with club face square to swing path. And that a push fade was caused by the same swing with a slightly open club face (to path).

If your grip and alignment felt as normal,

what do you mean by that? like the club laid off at the top of the backswing, instead of parallel to target line?

and yes, im familiar with the ball flight laws, but i though it would be the same as mdbuchsr said

I had a bad range session last night with the same issues.

I SWEAR ON MY MOTHERS LIFE I had an in to out swing path...it felt like I couldn't of swung more in to out, but still, obviously I was swinging over the top...it was weird, I felt 'cramped' on the follow through...as in my arms felt so close to my chest....and I couldn't get rid of that feeling......I'm going back tonight to see if it was just a one off. If I figure it out I'll post up and maybe it will help you. I haven't had a fade/slice issue since I first started swinging a golf club.

Well im 99% sure mine was in to it cause i could tell by divots facing a tiny bit right instead of straight... but yeah, if you figure out, please post.
