He just reached it earlier today, congrats to him!
He is the pro at a course about half an hour from me, and he lives close to the course.
He is doing a give away of some sort to a random follower too!
What is it that makes him so popular on Twitter? I can't think of any golfer who has anywhere near that number of followers!
He does upload pictures and videos very often, so i recommend you head on over, it's pretty interesting!

Poulter's a good marketer and communicator, or he has a solid PR team. You can tell that dude would of been a good salesman if he wasn't a pro golfer.

Well, he dresses loud enough to certainly garner a certain demographic. I've heard (unsubstantiated of course) that a vast majority of the tweets come male metrosexuals.

I can think of a golfer who has more followers in fact.Stewart Cink has had well over a million for quite a while now.Nice guy too.Poulter gets followers because he's perceived as being 'controversial' and outspoken.In reality, most of his comments are just moronic ramblings judging by what I've seen.Also, he can't spell and has poor grammar.

thing about poults is, he's always entertaining, and he's a cheeky bastard as well. like him or not, he has an attractive personality, and if you've watched one of his vids you feel like he's addressing you personally and not just making a video for the sake of it.
