I finally freakin broke 80 today making it 2 good ballstriking days in a row. Yesterday it was blowing 20+ MPH winds yet was able to hit every shot the way I imagined it needed to be played, and today was pretty much the same.... minus 20+ MPH winds :P I also found out numerous times how a bad situation can miraculously turn around and become a birdie opportunity, or how even a slightly mishit shot can still turn out better than originally intended lol. I actually just went to the course to practice putting and chipping again for a few hours but ended up seeing the husband of one of my dad's coworkers and asked if he wanted a playing partner. Sure enough I play my best 18 holes, and I have to thank him for it since even on bad shots he and I were just joking and talking about random stuff making me completely forget about score until I got to...15 realizing I was only +3 on my back 9 (was +5 on front) with 4 to play and all I had to do was par out and break 80. Tee shot went right of the fairway in the rough, uphill 9 Iron was meant for the center of the green but actually faded hard at the end and was 8 ft right of the pin, putt barely goes in for birdie, and then I f*ck up the next hole with a pulled tee shot, a bad punch out from behind a tree to behind another tree 100 yds down the hole, punch out again, chip on and all I can think about is how I HAD to make the putt to save bogie/chance at breaking 80. Sure enough I pull it and send it 4 feet past but make the return. Next hole just hit on the green and 2 putt for par, final hole I had a dilema since driver is too long of a club and 3 way miss, I had JUST pulled my 3 wood badly 2 holes ago (final hole has water along the whole left side, road along the whole right side considered OB if you cross it), so I hit 3 hybrid instead and pushed it dead right and almost on the road/OB. Pitching wedge went left of the green into a bunker that is a good 10-15 feet below elevated green. Stand over the ball just going OMGOMGOMGOMG do NOT blade this shot, and luckily hit a pretty good shot and 2 putted for a 79. Why could't I have done this god only knows how many times before? It's really not THAT hard now that I think about it....but then again birdies help a lot. My low rounds are almost always just a ton of pars and some bogies/double bogies mixed in. My putting has really gotten better in the last week after getting my putter bent -3* since it was too upright, got a more firm pistol style grip on it (Golf Pride tour tradition) and I keep my head down/rock shoulders whereas I used to rock back, but rotate through and pull a lot. For some other reason I just could NOT misread a putt today either :/ Scorecard below:

That's awesome man, congrats! Your putting definitely helped you out there, especially by hitting only 4 fairways. I had a 40 on the front the other day and fell apart on the back for 89, I can see what separates us: the putter.

By the way, how did you get Golfshot scorecard and stats to show up?

Yeaaaaaah.....fairways and GIR's are overrated.............. or at least I must think so cuz I NEVER get them hahaah! :P But yeah I was just making everything after the only 3-jack I had. The worst part is that it happened cuz I played it safe. It was either just wedge on to the front leaving me a looooooong up/downhill two putt, or risk carrying a bunker and having to stop it on one of the most baked out/fast greens at the course. A lot of two putts happened cuz I had the 100% perfect line but left them between a few inches and maybe 3 feet short. I've learned to look at my score and not necessarily get angry about penalty shots or bad tee/approach shots, its looking at my scrambling percentage and number of putts that show me what I Could/Should've shot and what I did shoot.

Gotta love the 1 putts. Up and downs can turn a normal round into a great round. 2 birdies doesn't hurt either.
