Taylormade 2008 Burner Hybrid $59.93 All for$487.58. I know it says it's pre-owned but its all inspected and still performs excellent. I'm guessing that your a beginner so it wouldn't be a bad idea to get this used equipment anyways.

That's not a bad bag. You could even save some money on the putter. You can buy nice putters cheaper than that to start. But very nice setup.

I was thinking from rockbottom.com I could get cleveland gold irons. Adams tight lies wood set, and a nike oz putter

Ebay, as long as you don't get gouged on shipping.

Rockbottomgolf is solid.

Gigagolf(or other conponent retailers) if you like the component route. Or mix it up. As a 20 handi i wouldn't be too worried about OEM throughout the bag. I got a set of irons & wedges via gigagolf for 153$. That would leave me 347 for woods & putter. I could buy brand new TMs for that much.

Rockbottomgolf

Adams Golf- Tight Lies Complete Set With Bag Graph/Steel 249.99 That's about the only complete set i'd ever consider from there. Hacker helper for half the budget.

Cleveland Golf- HiBore XL Tour Driver 89.99

Nike Golf- Dymo Fairway Wood Graphite 69.99

Adams Golf- Idea A3 Hybrid 3-PW Irons Graph/Steel 199.99

Adams Golf- Idea A3 3-Wedge Set 89.99

Odyssey Golf- White Hot XG Marxman Mini Putter 59.99

& that's all brand new. Obiviously if you look around you can get better deals. Wedges, fw woods, hybrids & putters are all available super cheap on various forums.

Exactly what I was thinking... Save a bit on a cheaper putter... Maybe spend the saved cash on a good used fairway wood.

Also, as stated above, RockBottomGolf is another good alternative. I've bought from them a few times and have had nothing but good experiences.

I have gotten my whole set up for less than $500, and while it isn't the latest greatest equipment, it is very high quality stuff that will last me a very long time.

Ping Zing Irons 3-SW $130 pre owned at Golf Galaxy
Ping G2 Driver $65 pre owned at Golf Galaxy
TaylorMade RAC wedge $50 at Dicks
Ping Karsten Zing putter $35 at Golf Galaxy
Ben Hogan CFT 3 and 4 Hybrids $50

I already had a bag, so I'm sitting at about $350 or so for my set of sticks. Look around at your local golf store pre owned section. You can find some good stuff!

I have bought a couple things from 3balls and Golfio as well. For big retailers check out TGW and Golfsmith for the occasional steal. Nothing wrong with RBG either.

Here: 3balls
http://www.3balls.com/product-produc...-IRONS-RH-USED (sweet deal on sweet clubs IMO) $150 Adams A3OS

3balls

http://www.3balls.com/product-produc...PUTTER-RH-USED $30 putter Odyssey Rossie

3balls

$390-410 less 10 percent on some of the items for buying multiple. $100+ to spare and you have a great starting point.

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
