#1 I think the receipt idea is good, I am sure he will understand.

#2 Its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission in a relationship

Go to the outing and make it up to her later...

you're 17... 2 years from now you won't even remember who the hell that girl is cuz you'll be too busy bangin drunk chicks in college.

Well said, just tell her you'll do something a different day..She already can't do something the day of the actual anniversary, so at this point it really doesn't matter when you celebreate it. You're too young to be worrying about this stuff anyway, who the hell celebrates anniversaries at 17 yro?? You're doing it wrong dude.

Im 23 and me and my GF have been together for about 6 years now. For our one year anniversy in HS(when we were seniors) I had a hockey tournament to play in and couldnt spend time with her. The day was even a saturday and we coulda done something fun but I was busy. So I went out and I bought my GF a really nice ring, I was wokring a decent paying job that year and I could sort-of afford it but It def. cost me more than a weeks pay.

The ring was like white gold and it had a bunch of diamonds and was studded with a big pearl in the middle. She loved it soo much I am still riding the gravy train from that ring 4 years later and were still together. She still wears it everyday and soo many girls compliment her on it usually wherever we are so it was def a big win for me. I havent had to give her anything that nice sense and she still talks about.

If you 2 think you are serious I suggest this route.

    • Day 4 (5 May 24) - mirror work focused on “feel of weight” transfer onto lead foot.  Continued work to develop trust in lead foot being able to handle full weight pressure…
    • Ok, so I’m still confused here. Are you saying I could have used the only available Spot in the bunker even though it was 6-7 feet closer to the hole?
    • Yes. If you choose to take the ball out of the bunker instead of taking maximum available relief… it costs a stroke.
    • I got another one today....Number 17. Par 5 that has water left and right on the layup. I smacked a drive down the left side and got a little lazy on the layup and fanned my 6 iron. With 112 to a crowned green I got it to 3 feet and birdie!  Only 5 and 15 is left for this year!
    • Maybe I didn’t explain this properly. Back and front can be confusing.  There was no place in the bunker that didn’t have 2-3 inches of rain water in it, except for a small spot on the slope nearest the pin. If I had dropped there I would be moving 6-7 feet closer to the hole. Since my ball was just inside the bunker, farthest side from the hole, I dropped one club length backward, which brought me out of the bunker. I could not have hit from that deep of water. Are you saying I would have had to take a penalty stroke due to rain water?
