Adams Hybrids.....opinions please

Currently game Mizuno CLK hybrids (20 & 23). They have been in my bag for 2 seasons. While many are negative on Mizunos woods and hybrids, I really like these clubs. Previously had Ping Raptures, which I found way too light (regular stock shaft). I ditched the Pings for the Mizunos.

I keep reading about how wonderful Adams hybrids are to play. I received the latest Golf Town flyer today, they are offering Adams A4s for $60 this coming Sunday (one day special).

I realize that these are not the latest available from Adams, surely technology hasn't changed that much between the older A4s and the current A7s.

Any feedback is appreciated, I'm thinking of heading to my local GT this Sunday to give them a try (albeit indoors on their simulator).

Way to make a big assumption.

To the OP, for that price I'd say go splurge on it if you got the extra cash. If it doesn't work out I'm sure you can flip it for nearly the same cost.

The Adam's tour hybrids are pretty good, but the A3 & A4 series setup too hooky for me.

i tried the A4 hybrid because I too read about how good they were supposed to be but it wasn't the case for me. I couldn't get that club out of my bag fast enough. everything i hit went left. just wasn't the club for me.

I've got the A4 3 and 4 hybrid. They hit pretty well off the turf and are a good match if you use the A4 irons. But I would caution to make sure they are a match to your set. I also have an A3 2 hybrid that hits like the A4s. Adams makes very good hybrids. The A4 may not match the feel and swing weight of your MP 60s, even with the light steel shaft. The Idea Pro Black may be a better match. I would bring your 5 iron in and swing as a comparison.

For me, the NS shaft is a perfect match on the MP60s. I have tried the MP60s with the TTDG regular shafts, the NS simply feel better. On well struck shots, they are silky smooth. When I don't hit it perfectly, there is sufficient feedback without feeling like a tire iron (which is how the DGs felt to me). Thanks for the suggestion of bringing my 5 iron along.

i've hit the A3 and A4
I loved the a3 but it was a tour setup when i had it
i never did bother finding an a4 with a stiff enough shaft A4os aswell
