I was chipping into his landscaping in the back corner of his yard. To make a long story short, he told me to try lining up to the ball with the toe of the club about mid-ball. I hit the most pure next 3 shots that they all consecutively went and hit his neighbor's shed.

Can anyone wonder why this is making me hit it better?

Haha, well gotta remember I'm hitting off some 3 inch kentucky blue grass. And the power behind it is what made me post thiss thread. I was taking the same swing 30 seconds before taking those and they were the right swing.
