Tempo drills never really helped me. What did work was developing the feel of my hips clearing in preparation for my club dropping into the slot. In other words, I have substituted any regulation of tempo with developing a feel for the sequencing of my mechanics.

My consistency I find in myself is my breathing pattern and I try to sync up my swing with it by initiating the swing at the end of deep exhalation.

This is an interesting statement because I realize now that I have super fast arms and a slow/lazy torso rotation. Which leads me to flipping the club at impact. What I have been doing as of today actually is slowing down my arms to match my torso, which makes the hinge and hold a lot easier. Are you saying to speed up my torso to match the speed of my hands/arms?

    • Just some notes Putting - more straight back and close the face through impact. I got a bit too inside, lots of block putts right or pushing the club out and heeling putts. Especially on longer putts. Pitching - pretty decent. Just working on distance control and different backswing lengths. Redeveloping the touch.  Also trying to no flip the club inside since that is my full swing pattern. Though, I seem to be able to bracket the center of the clubface, heel and toe strikes.
