8 years. Heck, from when I was born until I hit my first golf ball was shorter than 8 years. But 8 years seemed like an lifetime away from golf at the time. The effects of an injury (from a lifetime of sports,) then surgery, made me think golf was over, but after a long time away from the game, I went out one day and hit some balls with no real expectations... and the hook was reset back in place as hard as ever.

I did not really pick up the game until I was in my 20's. Other than that I rarely go more than a few days. In the winter I slow down a bit though. I play or practice everyday all summer long so I have to recharge the batteries somewhat when the weather turns colder. I still play in the winter but my concentration turns to hunting and football!

Probably about 4 months, from the time I stopped playing last season to the time my first set of clubs finally arrived at my door. Since then, probably about 6 or 7 weeks from when I first broke my ankle in April to when I finally played again in late May.

I didn't play at all from January 2008 - March 2010. I just now got back into it in march and I am almost as good as I was when I quit. But, I definitely still touched a club in that time.

I don't think I've ever gone even a whole year of my life without touching a club. I've been around the sport ever since I was a wee baby.

About 15 years. I played a par3 course once in high school. Then i didn't play again until i was 28.

Since then, probably not more than 3 days. I hit pitches, chips & flops up the stairs with wiffle balls & my kids hit them back down.
