I doubt that most people really think it was a competition, but something tells me that this probably upsets Jack in some small way. Jack's always struck me as a bit of a braggart and an excuse-maker. Not during his playing days, but since turning 55 or so.

Whew! When I first read the headline, I thought you were referring to Arnie beating Jack in a tournament or something.

I was thinking, "Geez, if I lost my grandson less then a month ago, I probably wouldn't be playing my hottest either". Good thing thats not what it was about.
