Mid range golf balls

Howdy!

I am just curious on what mid range balls spin the most. I am going to be playing tomorrow and need to get some balls before my round at Golfsmith and would like to know which balls will check on the green nicely. I'm not wanting to know what will compare to a ProV1 or Penta or Zstar, just wanting to see how the Mid Range selection is...

Most seem to be pretty comparable... Try the Gamers or HX Bite... I've used both and like them.

Search around on the Golf Digest site. See if they did a spin comparison among different grades of golf ball this past year.

Some ratings divide balls into high-spin, mid-spin and distance.

Taylormade TP Black. Very high spin ball for $30 a dozen. Just switched to them and love the greenside control.

I went with the Nike One Tour ball today at Golfsmith, I forgot they are $30! I have never tried these, so they might be what I need for now until they release a newer Nike ball and get rid of these.

if you want high spinning at a mid range price, the Nike One Tour and Tour D are pretty hard to beat. 3 (tour d) or 4 (tour) piece ball with a urethene cover = lots of spin.

I find Nike One Tour to be shorter off the tee. Much rather play NXT Tour or the Burner TP.
