I got a Canon Rebel T1i for Christmas this year since I think my parents were sick of me stealing their Nikon D80. Two very small things comparing the two or I think canon and Nikon themselves.

1. Zooming in on Nikon/Canon lenses is mirrored. For my parents D80 you turned the lens one way to zoom in, but on Canon's lenses that makes them zoom out. It's small and kind of stupid, but man that was screwing me up right when I first got it.

2. I REALLY liked Nikon having two dials on the body, 1 for Aperture and the other for Shutter Speed, It's getting really annoying to continue to use the main menu to swap what I'm changing and then it defaults back to shutter speed on my Rebel T1i. I could change the aperture, and if I don't touch it for 2 seconds it defaults back to shutter speed and I'll accidentally bump it, have to undo it and then go back to aperture again.  It's a small gripe but it's continually grating on me.

Other than that both cameras take amazing pictures :)

How do you like it?  I still haven't bought one, but I recently found out that I am going to be a daddy so I will be purchasing one VERY soon to give myself time to learn as much as I can about it before the baby gets here.  Where did you end up purchasing it?
