i'll do that, but im pretty sure its legit. i got it at a liquidation sale for PGA professionals.

Is it a fitting one with the removeable shaft? I've seen a few of those being sold cheaply lately. Obviously making way for the 910 drivers

The liquidation sale wouldn't have to go that low if it isn't a fitting one.

no, not one of the fitting ones. stock everything, no removable shaft.

i picked up my near mint 909D3 (which sell for more than the D2) for $140 shipped

what you paid is about what the D2's sell for, give or take a few

Because it's the smaller-headed Tour model, and in the used market demand is higher. D2 is probably the volume seller, so in the used market supply of the D3 is also lower.

You bought yours brand-new, so great deal for you either way.
