I agree. Some people are taking this waaaay too seriously. I suspect that Westwood would agree. As others have said, it's basically a "popularity" contest. I would vote another way but so what? They've both had a good year, are fresh young faces and that's very good for the game of goff - which surely needs it.

As to Lee's diet: he's doing pretty well, whatever he's eating ..... or drinking. He strikes me as a chap who could easily handle a pint or two but WWIK.

Who cares about ROTY besides Westwood? Pretty funny. I am sure Fowler would trade the award with Mcllroy for the win he earned this year. I think both of them will be so far beyond this a few years from now that even Westwood's head will spin.
