My history with OGIO: I fell in love with OGIO cart and stand bags after the 1st Voltage I purchased and have since owned another Voltage, Vision SS, Stinger 2 and now Grom. This is my 3rd Grom inside of a year. Durability was lacking on the dividers on the 2010. I never had any problems with any of the others. The Vision I had with the "Schling" was a great bag, but the Schling was a step back in the carry apparatus and they took care of that problem by replacing it. The customer service has been fantastic in my experience. I typed my Initial thoughts after removing the 2011 OGIO Grom and placing my clubs: Boy, the R&D; team at OGIO must've been out to lunch on this one. It's very tough to figure the best way to organize the clubs and rather cramped and chaotic. In my honest opinion, they've sure cheapened what once was, in my honest opinion, the best stand bags on the market. I foresee durability issues already and have barely got the bag out of the box and my clubs placed in it. The carry handle on these have been very cheapened by the new design as is the material the majority of the bag is constructed of. I know the weight was an issue, but if OGIO would've just stated actual weights in the 1st place the consumer could have picked for themselves and not had a complaint. Why in the World would they not replace the stand system on the Edge to the ArcLite? I would've then chose that bag as I love the Woode System. There's absolutely NO reason not to and would love to speak to somebody who is willing to try to explain it to me and the rest of the consumers. Another recent set back to the company and quality of the product. Also, your website is vague and intentionally leaving out certain specs on certain bags, back to quality or lack there of. I, as I'm sure others, feel like the company is trying to hide something or cover their tails by voluntarily leaving this information out. These are issues one shouldn't have to worry about when spending close to $200 on a carry/stand bag.

I'm glad someone is voicing there opinion of it.  I have the 2010 bag, and liked the idea of having 14 club storage on the top which is what I was looking for when I went with OGIO.  I've found the 2010 system of club management great but always wondered about this years model.  You've confirmed my suspicions that it probably was a downgrade vs. and upgrade.  My 2010 bag had an issue with the metal ring that is the center of the shoulder straps.  I carry 16 clubs around my local muni so I can practice several shots with different clubs but I guess the weight was too much because after about 15 rounds the ring separated and the straps came out.  I was going to return it but couldn't locate the receipt so I just use a good pair of channel locks to bend the ring back and secured it with a metal weld compound.

This years model looks like they improved that part but skimped in other areas.  Thanks for confirming you suspicion, I'll stick with what I got because it's a great bag other than that.

So I'm probably going to pull the trigger on a Grom very soon, but I've been bouncing back and forth between the 2011 with the 14-way divider and the 2010 with the Woode divider system.  So what I gather from the OP's comments is it's no contest, 2010 all the way.  You can find good deals on the 2010 on ebay so I'm happy to hear that, but I didn't want to go with a lesser model just to save $60-$80.  But if the reviews confirm it that's what I'll do!  Thanks for the post!

Completely agreed.  The 2011's 14 way divider system looks like a total hot mess.  I was on the search for "the" bag and just couldn't find one that I just loved.  I started with a Callaway when I finally started to but name brand clubs.  I hated the color from the beginning so I sold it and bought one in a different color.  It was an 11 way divider system and it just never looked right to me.  I ended up selling my clubs one at a time to upgrade for better ones and realized I had not more Callaway clubs and had all TaylorMade clubs.  So I switched out for a TaylorMade Staff bag that I found on ebay and while it looked beautiful, it just wasn't for me.  I gave it to my grandfather and was walking thru Golf Galaxy not even looking for a bag when I noticed a bag buried behind all the other big name brands.  I loved the look of this thing but was a little hesitant about the Woode divider system but ended up loving the entire bag.  I really cant find anything I dont like about the 2010 Grom bag.  I went with the black plaid, which I think is the best looking ones of them all.  Here is what mine looks like:

Going to chime in with my two cents.  I had a 2010 Grom that I really liked.  The only flaw for me where that all the zippers unzip at an angle which puts strees on that part of the zipper.  In under two years, I had two zipper seams coming apart at the angle and one of them finally caused the zipper to undo leaving the side pocket wide open and useless.  On a whim, I sent an email to Ogio and they offered me 50% off a new bag.

I took them up on it and expected another 2010, but a few weeks after ordering a 2011 showed up.  Obviously, the first thing I noticed was the 14 way divider intead of the Woode system.  While I didn't dislike the Woode system, I am liking the new one a little better.  The best is the zippers are now a straight down unzip and should hold up better.  I also like the new pocket set up, shoulder straps, stand legs and ball holder.

I have only had the bag since November and have been out with it probably 6-8 times, but I like it alot.  I would not have been dissapointed to have another 2010, but think the new mode has some good upgrades.

I went and traded it for a Sasquatch Tour...BIG mistake. Went back the next day and got it back. The SQ Tour was a big cluster f***. OK, don't jump on the 2010 so fast. I had 2 of those last year. The divider flaps came loose at the bottom of both, garbage, The longer I have this one the more I like it. I've been to the range 3 times with it and it is working out so far. Clubs, once a system was devised, go in and out easy and the other bags I've looked out are basically the same type of materials. I think they have something here and I'm sticking with it. I'm diggin' it more so than the Woode System the more i use it. I can't quite see so I'll ask.  Did you place your woods in the four slots in the middle?

Oh and the more I use the 2011, the more i think Ogio has a winner here. Funny how a little time and actual use can sway an opinion. The durability issues can only be known by the test of time, but I'd like to rescind my original thoughts on this right out of the box. After finding the best way to organize, it's a no brainer IMO. Soooo glad I went back and saw the error of my ways.

Ive had the Grom 2011 for about a month now and initially found it to be pretty cramped.  With all of the drivers/woods/hybrids in the top 4/5 slots, the irons in the middle of the bag were tough to access.  I finally ended up buying one of those individual club tubes and attached it to the outside of the bag in the umbrella loops as a putter tube.  I leave the middle slot open and it frees up a lot more room to access all of the clubs.  Cheap $2 fix for me.

Currently in the Grom: Driver: Ping G15 13.5;  Woods: Adams XTD 5W 18.5, TM R11 7w 22; Hybrids: Cleveland Mashie M4 and M5; Irons: Mizuno JPX800 w/Nippon NSPro950 S;  Wedges: CG16 48* CG15 52* CG15DSG 56*;  Putter: Rife 2bar hybrid mallet Ball: Callaway Hex Chrome
