We have a short par 5 overhere, just about 470 yds and I had a great teeshot of about 275 yds middle of the fairway and with the pin at the front it is quite reachable in two (even for me) .... I took out the 4i to hit it short of the green hoping it would stop near te hole to make either a Birdie or perhaps an Eagle ..... some how I hit it pure (shit happens) and it landed about 3 ft short, hit the flagstick and ended 2 inches from the hole .......

Pfff easy eagle

Don't know, must be an Ace on a par 5

i've had one before myself...to have 2 would be straight up incredible...as for the guy who asked about better than an albatross...if golf is THAT easy just take up gambling. an ace on a par 5...be serious. get better than an albatross we got a name for the person who gets it...Jesus.

Congrats on the eagle!  I can only imagine how exciting it must have been to watch that 4i shot land.

But the guys that just left the green saw it form close and told me what happened !

I said second, because I had one in about 25 years ago also at a par 5, second shot of which we were sure it should have been on or near the green from about 240 yds out, we couldn't found, till one of my competitors saw it was lying in the hole ....... today I actually only go for a green at a par 5 with my second shot if I really have a great drive (which is seldom for me).
