Played there simulator for the first time today... Really enjoyed it.

On topic, I personally like the grips right in the middle.  Little on the firm side.

I've been through sharpro, lamkin, gp, karakal, etc etc.  I like a firm tacky grip (I dont like wearing a glove and I live in very humid conditions).  I just installed performance plus (non-3gen) on all 13 clubs for $29 shipped (I installed).  These grips are geat.  So far Lamkin grip offerings seem to play firm and allow a relatively light grip pressure through faster swings.  I do like GP's 2gen grips but are really slippery if wet (dry they are great)

Bingo...same exact thing. Have played GP Your Velets for quite a few years and just replaced them with navy Lamkin Crossline Tour. Love them.

When I had my Ping fitting, both static and dynamic fittings called for undersized grips. Well since I was able to swing a half priced set of G15's I had to regrip right away. After just 2 weeks of using undersized Winn Excels I am getting a tremendous blister on the ring finger of my right hand even wearing gloves on both hands. (I'm a righty but sometimes go the Gainey, 2 glove route). In 35 years of playing golf I have never had a blister so I guess I'm going back to a standard mens grips.

2 questions, Whats the difference between a .580 and .600 grip? Are shaft diameters different or is a sneeky way of describing slightly undersized or oversized?

Second, for those of you using Pure grips, still like them? Are they holding up well and most importantly, not slipping?

Amazon has the 13 grip and installation tool for $50, seems like a screaming deal for any grip.

    • Yes, but not the one for the towel   What a save that would have been for Hideki at #1.
    • I’m going with Will Zalatoris at -12. Competition still open? 😁
    • You know what is confusing to me is that nobody chose him to win?
    • I’m rooting for Zalatoris today. A debut winner would be fun.
