The best of both worlds here outside Yakima, Wa.  I skied on Mt. Rainier on Saturday and played 9 holes on Monday!

Looking to break 90 this year, I was getting close the end of last season, shot a 42 on both the front and back nine at my regular course but NOT during the same round.  Best full round was a 92 during our club championship.  I won low net for my flight.  Dropped my handicap from 32 to 27.

As good as outside of Yakmia, it can't hold a candle to Salt Lake City. 4 ski areas within a half hour of city ctn which includes Snowbird & Alta. A lot of really good, reasonablly priced munies and better weather.

I'm jealous. I've been living in SE Indiana for 13 years now and miss the mountains, snowboarding/skiing, hiking etc that my home state of WA offers. My home town is 60 miles south of Spokane.

Never been to SLC but have heard lots of great things about the area.  Perhaps we'll retire there....

Yeah I have the best of both worlds as well, only I'm living on west coast in Washington.  Ski Mt. Baker with tons of powder on it, and next day hitting the course up on the coast... as good as it gets! haha!
