Was wondering if y'all were getting more distance out of this years r11 and burner 2.0. I got the r9 right when jt came out and im just not hitting it as far as im capable and wanted something longer. I don't necessarily need the adjustability so give me yalls word on whats good

If you we're looking for only distance, the superfast 2.0 is very, very long. I believe it has a longer than average shaft, and is lighter than both the r9 and r11.

Is $300 - $400 worth 5-10 yards?  I've hit the R11, SF 2.0 and SuperTri against my driver... they are all great.

If you aren't hitting it 'as far as you are capable' with an R9 Supertri, then you may need to study up on the indian/arrow relationship.

But what would I know, my driver is from 2006.

You may think I'm crazy, but find you a Bridgestone J33R 460 with the right shaft and don't look back.

i am in love with the new superfast 2.0...but compared to the r9 super tri i wouldnt say you'd be making that big of an upgrade

Everyone has there personal preference which is why i suggest you get fitted for either the R11 or Superfast 2.0. the reason i say that is because if you speak with someone who knows how to adjust the r11 they will be able to show you what settings give you more distance and right then and there you can see if its a big difference from what your current distance is now with your supertri and since your there you can swing the superfast and compare the two and find out which fits your game

I have the r11 and it is a great bit of kit but on saturday tried the SF2 and was amazed at how it felt

have a new shaft on order this morning for the r11 going to see how that works as a combo

either of them are very long

Weight difference? Swing speed difference?

I have the Supertri TP and upgrading to the R11 TP . the R11 feels great and I'd say a tad less resistance due to the 440cc head.

I also have the SUperfast... but it's only been used3 maybe 4 swings... the shaft feels rather flimsy for me.

When I swing it, it feels as if it's an R shaft rather than an S .

don't bother buy another head, focus your investment on the shaft, find a clubfitter that can make you hit as many shafts as possible... try the UST axivcore, Rombax, Motore, Blur in different flex and weights... at some point you'll find the distance you're looking for

that's my advice.

Supertri is known for high spin.  It's good for players who need more spin to keep the ball in the air.  If you're hitting it high and with little roll-out, it's a good suggestion to try other shafts to reduce the spin.
