So I am extremely frustrated with my current stand bag Warbird X. Clubs are tough to get back in properly feels like the grips are grinding. Anyway I was curious as to WHY do most websites not show the top of the bag where the actual clubs will go in? Some good looking bags that sound like they could be very good but without seeing the actual top no way I will buy. Online shopping is so much easier but not for golf bags imo. Anyone else face this weird issue?

yes, some one else who is frustrated by this. I know ogio golf bag tops names now that I own one and did research and went to stores to see for myself. but when I first started looking for a bag....same story. I was like, wtf is a 9 woode??? I had no idea what that meant, now I do. I loved the look of the bag, but no idea what the top looks like and how I would configure my clubs into the slots. I like to look at the top and imagine putting my clubs in and situate them. some company's put a diagram of the tops of their bags on their own websites. some don't. only way to tell is in store. guaranteed to see the tops there. haha.

Thanks for the response. I guess I am off to the golf store to check out golf bag tops. I really hope once I grab one to look at I am not attacked by salespeople. Okay to ask if I need help, but when I say no please go about your business even though I will still be grabbing at different bags. Sorry for the rant.

Titleist has the 14-Way Stand Bag, Nike has the Performance Carry which I think replaced the Sasquatch Tour, Bag Boy has one as well.  All have 14 full length dividers.  I have the Nike Sasquatch and it's a great bag, but not the lightest to carry.  Make sure you check the cheaper bags like MaxFli and Tommy Armour that have 14 slots as some aren't full length and your clubs can still get stuck and rub against each other.

14 divider is the way to go.  I had the Ping Latitude v2, but the sticking clubs drove me crazy.   I picked up the Nike Tour Cart II bag.  It is just an awesome cart bag.   Things I love:

separate putter well (surrounded by holes to hold tees)

front mesh pocket (great for phone GPS, smokes, etc.)

Very large side pockets for rain gear, hats, clothes etc.

14- dividers (no more sticking clubs!)

2 insulated side pockets for drinks

great rain cover

FWIW, I have a Titleist 14-way stand bag and love it... It's not overly heavy and is comfortable enough to walk with but is large enough to get everything I want in there.  It also fits well on a cart which is good for me as the majority of time I have to ride (very few courses out here, including my home course, require it).

I currently have a Nike Sasquatch Tour stand bag, I would rate it an 8/10.  It has a 14-way top, full length dividers and a cooler pocket.  The 'oval' pockets on the side bother me and there's really not that much room in the main full pocket.  The cooler (insulated) pocket is a little small, also.  I think if I bought a new bag today, I would go with the Taylormade Hybrid stand bag .  It has a 14-way top, with a unique layout (this site has pics of alot tops of bags), plus a bigger cooler pocket as well, quick release straps (which the Nike has, too), and a hidden pocket under the hip pad!  I've seen it in Golfsmith.

In my :nike:  bag on my :clicgear: cart ...
