I am having real trouble "releasing the club"

I have tried all of the "shaking hands" drills and its not working.

Any ideas?

I am a left hand puller, rather than a right hand pusher of the club if that makes sense

I am fading the living hell out of my long clubs and it boils down to me worrying my "horror hook" is on its way back

I recommend you don't try to release the club at all, but rather keep it somewhat on plane and don't hold it off. Lots of reading material in this thread: http://thesandtrap.com/forum/thread/30392/advice-i-hate-release-the-club

Trying to shake hands, release or roll the wrists is the recipe to poor consistency, ranging from pull-hook to push-slice.

+1. consciously trying to release the club is a recipe for hitting it thin, at least for me. I struggle with it sometimes.
