First time in any sort of sanctioned match.

Played from the blacks, course played 7200 yards.

Shot a 101.

Three putted 8 times and 4 putted twice.

Is this normal? lol

It's a bummer when putting ruins a round. Would have been an 89 if you 2 putted all those holes.

Drugs are bad. M'kay.

I change my swing every time I don't shoot par for the course.

Best Round: 89 at Lake Park Golf Course, Lewisville, TX   66.5/102

Yeah, was quite a shame.  One hole I tripled because I putted the ball a little too hard down a slope...rolled off the green and down a huge hill...

It's amazing how different your game is when you play in a match isn't it?

I played my first match in 2009 when I was a Freshman and it was ugly, worst putting I've ever seen in my life. I must say though the more you put yourself in uncomfortable situations the better your game will get. If you can learn to control your nerves you will be on your way to some great competitive rounds.

Good luck with any future matches!

playing in competitive tournaments is a different ball of wax, keep at it, it will get better, sometimes the nerves get the best of you. First mens am tournament I played in I did the same type of thing on day 2, the mind starts to race a little, just pretend your out with your buddies it will relax you a little.  Just imagine how a struggling pro feels coming down the stretch in contention of his first win on the PGA, I think I would be whiffing it!

This is a good reason why making sure your short game is good, because when you go to a new course or tournament, you can adapt and play well and not worry about those 3 putts.  I am always practicing my putting and now i barely 3 putt, regardless of the course and if im in tournament play.
