Hello all,

I have spent a lot of time on this form reading and trying to identify flaws in my swing. I am a beginner and looking for some input before I spend money on lessons.

One major issue I am having is a straight left arm on impact. I have spent many hours trying to improve on this and have made no progress. I believe my greatest issue is my hip movement or lack there of!

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Since no one else has replied I might be able to help

At setup: You're not over the ball, your head is behind the ball...do you chunk much?

Backswing: You sway off the ball even more and then crouch down a bit

Downswing, you're flipping through the ball and lose forward shaft lean ( swaying is probably the main cause of this )

Get your head over the ball at setup, instead of swaying, rotate with your hips ( you'll feel your right leg straighten instead of crouch ), and lead the clubhead with your hands, not the other way around
