Just bought 24 of these for 35$ at costco. They aren't on the Callaway website and was wondering if anyone is familiar with them and their peformance. They're supposed to be both long and soft with reduced spin off the driver. I assume they are just re-labeled for costco - does anyone know what they are comparable to? They are a 3 piece ball with hex shaped dimples.

Thanks for any info!

Are you sure they are hexagonal dimples? I have some older CX3 Hot Callaway golf balls that were basically the HX Hot without the hexagonal dimples. Those weren't on the website either and were sold at Wal Mart.

If they do have the hexagonal dimples, they are probably similar to the HX Diablo Tour, because you said they were 3 piece.

Definitely hex dimples, supposed to reduce drag.

I just figured that the top-flite eagles were 20$ for 24 and the Callaways were 35$ and bound to be a better ball. Anyway, 24 balls will last me all season so price isn't a huge deal, just wanted something a little softer feeling than the Top-Flite Ultimates I was using last year.

The CB1 Tour's from Costco are a decent ball. My brother gave me a sleeve to try adn I've played them for a couple of holes but they seem to be a decent ball. They have good distance off the driver and irons. The ball does not spin as much as some high end balls but I usually play more roll on my chip shots and therefore they seemed to be fine. I will post some more once I have a chance to test more. For the price they offer @ Costco they seem to be a good ball for a fair price.
