I'm nearby (2.5 hours). My wife and I went to Turning Stone last year for a pool tournament. We should try to play this summer.

My home course doesn't currently have their own web page. The only thing on the internet related to them can be found on the Northern Nevada Golf Association's web site and one of the member clubs has their own little crappy hole on the internet that never gets updated. They can be found here:

That's how I like my golf. A kick in the face. -Ben

Hi. I'm pretty new here and my home course doesn't have a website -- probably because they are SELLING IT to some development company thats going to build another mall over it in two years! I have one more season to use it and have been using it my whole life :(

I found a link -- not an official link but a link to a listing of it

There are actually several courses around me:

First off, there's Sinaloa, the local pitch and putt for working on your short game: http://www.rsrpd.org/Sinaloa.htm

Westlake Village golf course, a par 67 executive course without a website, so this'll have to do: http://www.greenskeeper.org/southern...ke_Golf_Course

Los Robles, a nice, popular public course: http://www.golfthousandoaks.com/

Camarillo Springs, another nice public course: http://www.camarillospringsgolf.com/

And then there's Moorpark Country Club, the crown jewel of the area. Semi-private, so non-members are welcome: http://www.moorparkgolf.com/

There are also several private courses around which I haven't played, one of which is Sherwood Country Club, which hosted the Target World Challenge last month, starring Mr. Woods Himself. Incredible course: http://www.sherwoodcc.com/course.html

OK, that's all I'll mention for now. Suffice it to say I'm very lucky to have several great golf options nearby.

    • 39, +4. A bit better hip slide stuff. More lateral, less turn with the hips.
    • Day 11: Worked on putting with the metronome
    • I added to total today by hopping it in on the first hole for an eagle. A short par 4, I hit 4 wood to 110. With a little breeze in my face I hit a 50 degree gap wedge to 2 feet and watched it hop into the hole for an eagle 2!
    • Sounds good. Text me if you have any questions. You have a good setup, too, and so long as you can get good camera angles… you should be good. https://skillest.com/@iacas
    • Day 14 (September 18).  Morning practice, despite questionable weather (it's raining).   Worked on chipping at first, including run-ups with UW and PW;  I've noticed lately some of my near-GIRs are missing forward, with nothing but grass ahead of me, but 20-30 yards to the pin.  After a few misadventures putting those lately, I wanted to at least get a feeling for what a 30-yard chip shot that doesn't have the variance of my quarter lob wedge would feel like.  I still think "putt when you can putt" is right, but... I am less sure I have a 30 yard putt in me.  Range time also, of course, same routine as the past week or so (drill, 3-4 slow shots, etc).   Did not get to the putting green as it was starting to come down a bit more. Darn, it really is raining.  And I thought today would be a perfect day to play, seeing as how it's 9-18 and all.
