I notice sometimes I bend my left arm a tad, like on my full swing, during impact and on the follow through. I wonder if gripping lower down on the putter might help?

At set up, you should have your left arm bent (each arm should be bent the same amount). Maybe this is why you are then bending it through impact.....here's a link to an image of Tiger's putting set up - http://tinyurl.com/64agyzr

Bend your left arm a tad? You should see a guy who really chicken-winged his putts -- Leo Diegel:

As funny as that stance looks, this guy had, in an eight-year span between 1926 and 1933, nine top five finishes in the modern majors (excepting the Masters) including back-to-back wins in the PGA. Superb ball-striker. Really nervous on the green.

[/quote] Yeah, maybe arms straighter at address isn't a good idea. But I think because I used to chicken wing on the full swing, it might have carried over to putting. I've never videotaped myself putting. Amazing. Never too late to start.
