My money (or fake money) will be on Jim Furyk. He is going to get off to a great start in the FedEx Cup with Tiger and Phil not in the field and will be well on his way to winning the thing.

Stuart Appleby and Vijay Singh will both be in the running again though. They both have great track records at The Mercedes and will be factors all week long.

Can we get some golf going already?!? I'm ready to go.

I still say Appleby because this guy rules in Kapalua!!
IMO, he has found the right condition and preparation for every start of the season and his play is taylor made for the plantation course... I think that also Tiger has felt that he does not have a competitive advantage in the plantation course (because of the roll and slope, everyone drives so long!) so if he has the chance, he rather be at home preparing for the rest of the season.
