I'm trying to decide between these two.  I'm looking at the Launcher 3 wood 17* and the G15 4 wood 17*.  My only thoughts on the Launcher is that it's 180 cc compared to 150 for the G15.  I worry that a head of that size could be difficult to hit off the deck, or won't it matter?

Ping G15 17*

Mizuno MPT-11 Black Nickel 52* and 58* with GS-95

Haven't hit the Launcher, but the G15 4 wood is awesome.  First fairway wood in a while that I feel very comfortable and confident with, especially off of the deck.  I am going to be trying out a K15 3 wood (16*) that I found used, and many people seem to prefer the K15 over the G15 4 wood.  Either way, the G15 4 wood is a very nice club.

Equipment:
Ping K15 Driver (10.5º) - Diamana BB R flex; Ping G15 4 Wood (TFC R flex); Ping G15 20* Hybrid (TFC R flex); Ping G15 23* and 27* Hybrids (AWT R flex steel); Ping G15 Irons 6-GW (AWT R flex steel); Ping I-Wedge 54* Wedge; CG14 BP 58* Wedge; Odyssey Black Series Tour Designs #9 Putter

When I was looking for a 4 wood I compared those clubs and I ended up going with the G15.  The G15 I was able to hit a country mile even off the deck and it was always nice and straight.  I didn't find that the slightly larger head of the Launcher made any real difference but I didn't try it out of heavier grass.  My main complaint with the Launcher was that it was too long (it is technically a 3 wood after all).  I found the ball flights to be comparable (though again for some reason I hit the G15 maybe 10-15 yards farther).

I think for the price you definitely can't beat the Launcher, but my money ultimately went to Ping.  That 4 wood quickly turned into my go-to club off the tee on tight par 4 and 5 holes, I absolutely love hitting it.
