I have a titleist 910 5 wood that i don't like, i want ti get a 910 hybrid.  My question is do they sell just the hybrid heads? and if they do, is there a reason why i couldn't put it on the shaft if the 5 wood

Titleist 913 D2 8.5
Titleist 913 3 wood 13.5

Titleist 910 17* hybrid

Titleist Vokey 54& 58

You cannot buy a head from Titleist, they only sell clubs,  The shaft from 5 wood will not fit hybrid. The 5 wood shaft is .335 and hybrid shaft is .370.

What about the length? The shaft is critical to how the club performs.

I would think that a hybrid has an iron shaft and obviously a 5 wood has a wood shaft.  They probably aren't compatible.

Correct.  Modern iron and hybrid shafts are typically .370" parallel tip, or .350"/.355" taper tip.  Woods (driver included) are .335".  I have seen a few odd balls like .400", but these are typical.

So, since the hybrid is an iron replacement club, it utilizes an iron shaft.

Are you thinking you can just unscrew the hybrid head and fit it on the 5 wood shaft because they both have the loft/ lie settings?

if so I have the 910 3wood and I'm thinking I'll get the hybrid soon (special order so I am not sure if it will be this week or next)

I'll be happy to experiment with the two on the range and see.
