So my name is Cody and im 18. I have only been golfing honestly once and been to a driving range 2 times. I was not even capable of hitting a driver 100 yards and keeping it straight. My dad surprised me and got me golf lessons at one of our local driving ranges. In about 25 minutes I was driving 290-300 yards dead straight at between 104-111 MPH consistently. My PGA golf instructor called me a prodigy and told me I might have a bright future in golf if I kept working hard at it.

lol... I hear you man, too bad hitting it 300 yards dead straight is only 3 percent of the game of golf... Most bad instructors call everyone prodigies, I mean what a better way to keep getting daddies money! Best of Luck Man...

While you're searching Ebay for your tour card look for some Ping Eye 2 irons, they will elevate your game.  With your given talents you should be dominating the game in no time.

yikes, tough crowd.     The kid is just excited his lesson paid off & his driving improved dramatically.      My advice is to stick with it & practice to bring out those talents you may have - it's a different game on the course when you have to hit that 290 yard drive on a fairway thats only 80 ft wide.      Have fun & keep practicing...

I was serious, and it was my first lesson... you dont have to be a doushebag. I can also hit my 9 iron 172 yards.

I can hit my 9 iron 200 yards with the ball in the back of my stance and my hands pressed forward and maintaining a low follow thru... I nice boring ball flight that will run forever, but who really cares is my main point. Best of Luck man

100 yds. to 300 yds and dead straight in 25 minutes? Nothing to this game. You either need to turn pro or find a more challenging hobby.

      That's a tough pin on 14 at TR, had to make the hole play much longer, how far was that shot? I've only played that hole with a front pin.

      No, but I spent (marginally) less time in the trees at Southern Pines, so it definitely played wider for me 😆. It definitely felt wider.

      I'm bad about taking pictures, but here are a few Hole 1 on Duke, looking toward the green. The elevated green with bunkers surrounding it was a theme. The other theme was pin placements that were tough - this one is pretty far left. There were basically no easy pins on this day.     Hole 3 at Pine Needles. An extremely cool hole. Hole 5 at Pine Needles. The picture doesn't do the green site justice. Green of 6 at Southern Pines. A wild green, and a really cool setting at the edge of the property: Hole  Tee shot on 5 at Tobacco Road. Flag is on the flag, the huge fairway is to the right. Hole 8 at Tobacco Road. Downhill, medium length par 3 with this pin in the front part of the green. Really cool looking shot. A look at the pin placement and cottage on Tobacco Road 14. I hit one of my best shots of the trip here, to about 15 feet.

      Yes, but season 2 being all of six episodes is a bit of a let-down, even if the season itself wasn't.
