I've got a hand-me-down Ping 1A (nope, it's from Phoenix) that I just can't seem to replace! The face is a little bent, but I haven't found a putter that has felt better to me. Well, at least not one that I could afford.

Plus, everyone gets a kick out of the distinctive "ping" sound every time I putt.

I am considering buying a Piper Redwood Piper or the Odyssey Black Series #1 or #3. Can anyone comment on these putters good or bad?

I think so much of putting is in the mind, so it helps to pull out a putter that you are confident in and that you have pride in. Whether its a cameron or bettinardi or odyssey or your grandfather's bullseye or whatever, half of the battle is THINKING YOU ARE GONNA SINK THAT PUTT

I totally agree, which is why I haven't been able to replace my old Ping!

Cameron Futura Phantom II, Cameron Red X, Rossa Monza, Rossa Daytona, Ping Anser2, 1957 Sportsman George Low Wizard 600. Sometimes a $15 bargain barrel blue clone of something.

Depends on the day and whim. I love them all!

Putters I HATE- Odyssey 2 Ball anything, Ping putter that looks like half a sewer lid. Anything with a soft insert

I have the Mizuno Bettinardi c-03 - I absolutely LOVE this putter. I spent hours a day trying different putters out in the stores, I was ready to bar a rife 2 bar blade - then I started using the mzuno. The feel was just amazing.... I had got fitted for the putter and i can not say anything bad about my putting game. it goes where I aim and this is my by far my favorite club in the bag...

I play a Heavy Putter B1-M (mallet, center shaft, matte finish) and like it very much. I have tried many other putters and the HP is definitely different. I feel much more confident with it on the green and for me, confidence is everything when I'm golfing.

That being said, I love trying out putters, and every time I try the Oddysey White Hot XG 2-ball SRT, it is magic. A great putter with a great feel. I know what I'll want if my HP gets stolen...

I voted Odyssey but need to change that, I went to Austads Golf at lunch just to visit that Taylor Made Monza Corza I brought up on the forum earlier this week, it turns out they had it priced even lower than I thought and as low (if not lower) than most used Monza Corzas were going for on eBay. So I hooked myself up.

Man I can't wait to use this on Saturday for the Club Championship!

Odyssey 2 Ball Center Shaft. It was the first club I purchased to start replacing my beginner's set. It immediately shaved strokes from my game. I tested out all of the putters on the test green and after an hour or so, I kept coming back to the 2 Ball center shaft. It fits my eye well, helps me line it all up and swings smooth like a pendulum.
